Complete the Bell Ringer and save it to the Period/Bell Ringer folder and your File Storage/Bell Ringer folder. 5 minutes max. time after the bell.

TUESDAY - 1/13/09
BELLRINGER: Review Completion section for Semester 1 assessment (studyguide - Assignment #35). Record the correct answers, so you can study for the tests scheduled for tomorrow and Thursday 1/14-1/15.
LESSON/ACTIVITY:
FIRSTCLASS ASSIGNMENT
Open your FirstClass account. Then locate all work completed for Semester 1 (in your file storage or on your jump drive. Rename assignments appropriately. Make sure each assignment has a number and name. You are going to make sure that all assignments from Semester 1 are uploaded. You will create a folder named: Semester 1 Work in File Storage and your HOOP (name) folder.
Save ALL assignments from Semester 1 (Assignments 1-36) in your FILE STORAGE AND HOOP folder in FIRSTCLASS.
Steps:
Create a folder called “Semester 1 Work“ in both your FILE STORAGE and in your H.O.O.P. (name) folder in FirstClass.
Upload all assignments (1-36) from your jump drive to each Semester 1 Work folder. Make sure each assignment has an assignment number and name.

STUDY GUIDES
Study guides are posted in the Class Period folder in FirstClass. Study the questions/answers, in preparation for your 15th Week Assessments that are scheduled for next week. You will be able to use your spiral notebook/Cornell Notes for the Bonus Question on the 15rh Week Assessment, so take great notes!
Spiral NotebookAssignment - Write the questions and answers for Lesson 3 in your spiral notebook. This assignment was due Monday, 12/1/08. See last week’s assignments.
SPIRAL NOTEBOOKS MUST BE TURNED IN TO DR. SHEGOG NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, 12/3/08.
ASSIGNMENTS
Assignments 20 – 26 are now late! Late assignments are worth a maximum of 1/2 credit or 5 points. Assignments 20-23 were originally due on Friday, November 21, 2008. You will receive a zero for all assignments not received by Wednesday, 12/3/08 (your class period).

Wednesday - Turn in spiral notebook. Define Vocabulary terms listed on board, in your spiral notebook.
Thursday - Compute 13th Week Evaluation. Calculate your points for Assignments/Projects/Bell Ringers (BR), and Attendance (3 tardies = 1 absence).
Friday – Review Study Guide for Lesson 3, in preparation for 15th Week Assessment

BR QUIZ- 5 min. - TECH TERMS Without talking, go to your class Period folder and open the TECH TERM QUIZ #1. Complete the Quiz and save it in the Period Folder in FirstClass. Don’t forget to put your heading on it and save it in the Period folder. Save the Quiz in your Tests/Quizzes folder in FirstClass also.

Monday – Create six flash cards, using the vocabulary in Lesson 2 and 3. Choose six out of the total words in Lesson 2 and 3.
Tuesday – Lesson 2 - Vocabulary (1-4) . Write in Spiral Notebook in Vocabulary Section.
Wednesday – Mid-Week Reflection. What have you done to ensure that you will receive a passing grade in this class? Reflect on your attendance (absences/tardies), time-on-task, attitude, note-taking, submission of work in a timely manner (including poster board project), lab procedures, etc.
Thursday - Draw a VENN diagram illustrating the relationship between a file cabinet as a database and an electronic database. Identify the similarities and differences. See posted sample.
Friday – No school for students
