Checkpoint for Week 5 – Feb 25-29, 2008

 CSA2 - Periods 1, 3, & 8

Weekly Goals:  “I CAN”

  • I can answer to questions from reading Tutorial1 of the text.
  • I can update my daily log form, Cornell Notes, and bell ringers forms.
  • I can record my daily notes in my spiral notebook.
  • I can create a basic web page, using the concepts that I learned this week.
  • I can use the correct file naming convention to name all of my files.
  • I can save my files in the appropriate storage locations:  jump drive, email, and online folders.  No excuses will be accepted for lost work.  Have a backup system!
  • I can organize all of my work in my 2-pocket folder.
  • I can take notes on oral presentations given by my peers.

 Bell Ringers:

Monday - Write the answers for the first five True-False statements from your Assessment - Tutorial 1.  Include the page number for each answer.

Tuesday -  Write, on a sheet of paper, five things that we can include on a Tribute webpage to Mr. Bobby Jackson, security officer.  Explain how we should do it.   Number your suggestions.

Partners Tech Buddies Work

Using your textbook and notes, write the answers for the True-False section (starting at #6) of your Assessment - Tutorial 1.  Incldue the page number for each answer.   Use your Cornell Notes Form.

These questions will be used to compile your 30th Week Assessment.
MISC. TASKS:

  1. Update your weekly Cornell Notes
  2. Complete your Daily Log and Bellringer forms.  
  3. Write notes in your spiral notebook every day.  Use 1 page per week.  Write the Week number and dates for each page.  For example:

Bell Ringer:

Record the notes from the board in your spiral notebook.  Print all forms for the current week.  Turn in all forms for Week 18, Week 19, Week 20, and Week 21 TODAY.  Spiral notebooks will be checked next week.

Complete the PreTest for Semester 1 (assigned last semester) and turn it in on Wednesday, February 13, 2008.  Use your notes and your old web page programs to help you with the coding.  Turn in the source coding on 2/12/08.  NO EXCUSES!
